REGISTRATION CLOSEDNew Registration System: Play Football 2.0
π Important Change for 2026
We're transitioning from DRIBL to Play Football 2.0 for all registrations starting in 2026.
This change is in response to a directive from Football Australia, which has mandated that all players across the country must be registered on a single, unified system.
What is Play Football 2.0?
Play Football 2.0 is Football Australia's new national registration platform designed to streamline the registration process for all football clubs across Australia. It provides:
- Mobile-optimized experience - Register easily from your phone or tablet
- Single family account - Register and manage your whole family from one login
- Simplified login - Use your email, Facebook, or Google account (no FFA number needed)
- Unified system - One registration system for all of Australian football
- Secure profile management - Your football history follows you across clubs and seasons
Why Are We Making This Change?
Football Australia has mandated this transition to create a consistent registration experience across all football clubs nationwide. Benefits include:
- Better data management and player tracking across the country
- Improved communication between clubs, associations, and Football Australia
- Enhanced security and privacy protection for participants
- Streamlined processes for transfers and player movements
- A modern, user-friendly mobile experience
