Important Information for Players & Parents
⚠️ Important: Always Assume Soccer is ON!
Parents and players MUST always assume that soccer is ON!
If it is cancelled, teams will always be notified either Friday afternoon by 4:30pm or Saturday morning by 7:45am
If games go ahead and North Bankstown teams do not show up, that is a Forfeit and a FINE to the team from BDAFA of $50. This is passed on to those players who did not attend.
Scenario 1: Parks Closed Friday 4pm
Council will close All or JUST some parks for the weekend based on predicted rainfall and current condition of fields.
When:
Published by 4pm Friday afternoon
Process:
BDAFA tells clubs. We tell Coaches & Managers, and they post on Team WhatsApp
Scenario 2: Open by Council But Inspected Saturday Morning
Council leaves all parks OPEN and if heavy rain is forecast for Friday, Council requests all parks are inspected in morning by each club and decide if their fields are suitable to play soccer on.
Process:
Each club inspects their fields by 7:30am and posts on CLUB WhatsApp group what fields are open or closed. Club tells coaches and managers which games can go ahead or move to new location or time change.
